Watch American Aquarium Perform ‘Wichita Falls’ at a Different Iron Horse
The band American Aquarium famously wrote a song called 'Wichita Falls' after performing at The Iron Horse Pub downtown. Turns out the band played it last night at a venue with the same name.

Throughout the years, several songs have been written about or mention Wichita Falls. A personal favorite to many is the American Aquarium song titled after our city. Front man BJ Barham remembers exactly where he wrote his love song. The song mentions writing a postcard from Wichita Falls and hoping that person receiving the postcard loves you, as much as you love them.

No, you did not miss out on American Aquarium show last night in Wichita Falls. However, the band did the song named after our city in a venue that has a similar name to the venue they played that night after writing the famous song. Apparently North Hampton, Massachusetts has an Iron Horse. Ours is The Iron Horse Pub, but they have The Iron Horse Music Hall.

Still, it's strange to see American Aquarium play this song in front of a sign that says Iron Horse and not automatically think they're in Wichita Falls. Sadly American Aquarium does not have a Wichita Falls date this year (yet). However, their front man won't be too far away from us in March.

Who knows if he will do an acoustic version of 'Wichita Falls' at this show, but hopefully he does.
