
Softball Game Goes On in Oklahoma With Tornado Touching Down
Rain delays happen in softball all the time, but they don't stop for tornadoes in Oklahoma.
April through May, tornado season really ramps up in parts of Oklahoma. At some point throughout the week, you have a severe weather warning going off about a possible bad storm moving in. Well in Alva, Oklahoma yesterday they had a tornado move into the area and someone captured what maybe the most Oklahoma photo ever.
Oklahoma Softball During a Tornado
Yes, while the under ten Alva Diamonds team were finishing off their game last night. The tornado was moving in several miles away. Beth Mahon Rose got an amazing photo of the tornado touching down in the background with the girls on team posing in front of the funnel forming.
Alva is located just northwest of Oklahoma City. Looks like any damage from this tornado was minor last night, but still. It's a hilarious photo to capture. Looks like last night was very active for tornadoes in other parts of the country. The Texas panhandle had some tornadoes touch down as well. You can check out some of that footage here.
