4 Texas Restaurants Among Yelp's Best New Restaurants of 2024

Yelp recently released its list of the Best New Restaurants of 2024, and 4 Texas eateries made the cut.

It’s no secret that we Texans pride ourselves on many things, but we’re especially proud of our food. And I’m not just talking about restaurant owners and their staff. You’ll find a backyard pitmaster or ten on just about every city block in the Lone Star State.

So, it’s always nice to receive validation from the folks at Yelp.

I’ve seen many people on social media blasting Yelpers for being entitled, snobby, etc. But the truth is that I’ve never met anyone who called themself a Yelper, so I have no opinion of them either way.

But I can say that Yelp has rarely let me down. It’s my go-to app when I’m looking for a good local restaurant while out on the road. So yeah, I trust the folks who contribute to their ratings and reviews.

That’s why I’m always intrigued when Yelp releases its annual “Best Of” lists. Nine times out of ten, I’ll make a mental note and add the restaurants to the list of places I need to try when I’m in the area.
