Whether you’re looking for a place to just sit back and have a few drinks in a quiet environment or you want to cut loose and get loud with a rowdy crowd, there are plenty of options here in town.

I once had someone new to town comment about the fact that we have a lot of bars here. I was actually surprised to hear that because I just figured Wichita Falls had an average amount of bars. So, I guess we’re above average in that category. Yay for us!

Admittedly, I don’t get out to the bar as much as I would like to. I used to go out quite a bit, but then we had a kid. And then another one less than three years later.

The thing about little ones in not only do you need to be present to attend to them, they’re also quite expensive. And right about the time they get old enough to not need you around to take care of their needs, they get even more expensive.

That’s why I do most of my drinking at home.

But with that being said, I’ve bellied up to just about every bar in this town over the years. In fact, after a search of the top bars in Wichita Falls on Yelp, there are only two in the Top 10 that I haven’t been to and I plan to change that hear shortly.
