It looks as though Bullet for My Valentine will be approaching their next record at a more lengthy pace. The group, who had already taken some time off while singer Matt Tuck worked out his guitar chops with Axewound, ran into another complication as guitarist Michael “Padge” Paget just underwent back surgery.

Matt Tuck from Bullet For My Valentine has a new side project that we’ve told you about before. It’s called Axewound and it’s pretty heavy. They’re offering a free download of their new song “Post Apocalyptic Party” at their website but I grabbed the embed code here.

Welsh metal titans Bullet for My Valentine have just entered a studio in Thailand to begin the recording process for their fourth full-length album. Earlier today (Feb. 15), frontman Matt Tuck tweeted a picture of drummer Michael “Moose” Thomas laying down drums for the yet-untitled upcoming album.
