I'm honestly getting used to the idea that the new Van Halen record A Different Kind Of Truth may be made up of re-recordings of old songs that never made the cut but I'm not completely sold on it. Yes, I'm stoked to hear some tunes I've never heard before but can it truly be called a new album? Which actually makes you think the album title itself is a reference to that very fact.

According to sources, "She's the Woman" and "Bullethead" both originally appeared on an early demo produced by Gene Simmons and although I haven't heard "Bullethead", "She's the Woman" definitely sounds like old school Van Halen and for my money is a way better song than the first single from the album "Tattoo" so there is still hope.

Come on February 7...I'm ready to hear the whole damn thing!
