Becca and Lawrence – Humane Society Pets of the Week!
If I didn’t have pets in my life, I’m not sure what they would do. They add a lot of zest. Even my son’s lizard is a delight to watch. Of the pets in our home, however, it’s my cat that really has my heart. She snuggles me at night, keeps me warm when it’s chilly, and adds entertainment when she tries to run out the front door, only to realize it’s a glass door and not really open. Sure, there are times when she doesn’t want me around, but that’s just like people. Sometimes you want a scratch, sometimes you don’t. Not all pets have someone there to scratch them, and that’s where you come in.
The Humane Society shelters pets, gets them the care they need, gives them the love they’re craving, and does their best to place them in permanent homes. Whether you’re looking for an energetic puppy that loves kids to at cat who’s just as laid back and quiet as you are, chances are the Humane Society will have your perfect match.
May I present our pets of the week. If you’d like to see them in person or get more information on these pets or any other pets that the Humane Society has, check them out online here or call 940-855-4941. They’re located at 4360 Old Iowa Park Road in Wichita Falls.
Becca is an extra large adult female cat. She’s really calm, sweet, and loveable, and really likes being petted. She’s ideal as an only cat because she likes to be spoiled and the center of attention. She’s spayed, up-to-date on shots, microchipped, and dewormed. Come visit her today and stay a while, because she’ll be really happy to see you!
