Tony Kerns

Ok... the easy stuff first.  I was born in Tucson, went to high school here in Wichita Falls (OLD HIGH CLASS OF '99 REPRESENT!), and graduated college in Albuquerque.  I'm happily married to my High School sweetheart Lindsey and we have a beautiful baby girl Madeline (named after one of the funniest women to ever live, Madeline Kahn.)  I'm a huge geek, and proud of it.  At any given time by belt buckle is either Ghostbusters, Superman or Batman, I have many shirts to match those belt buckles, and have more action figures on display in my house than my 8-year-old nephew has in his toy chest. Now for the more introspective stuff...  My wife says that its quite obvious that I was born to entertain people.  In a group of people, if I'm not cracking jokes, people come up and say, "Are you feeling ok?"  Getting people to laugh at something I said or did, and I meant to make them laugh, is the best feeling in the world to me.  Of course I've learned the hard way where and when it is not a good idea to try to make people laugh... like funeral homes or a police line up.

10 Things You May Not Know About ‘Dracula’, ‘Frankenstein’, and ‘The Wolf Man’

When it comes to horror movies, I feel like the classic Universal monster movies don't get their due respect.  Yes, by modern standards they are tame, but they are still the movies that laid the ground work for those modern horror films.

Funeral Held For Walter White In Albuquerque, Causes Controversy

It’s not every day you see a funeral in an actual cemetery for a fictional character, but fans of Breaking Bad in Albuquerque, the setting and shooting location for the show, did just that yesterday, paying respect to the show's lead character, Walter White. However, some saw it in bad taste.

Neil deGrasse Tyson Questions Scientific Accuracy of ‘Gravity’

Yes, we are well aware that the blockbuster film Gravity isn't meant to be a documentary.  And while most films take a great number of liberties with what can and should happen in certain situations, film makers should be well aware that when you make a science-based film, you're going to be held to a higher level of scutiny to remain scientifically accurate, more so than if you make G.I. Joe: Retalliation.
