15 Famous Hotties Over 45, Round 4

Last year we threw in another 'Buffy' and 'Angel' alum just shy of the 45-year-old mark, Charisma Carpenter, and this year we honor her former co-star, Julie Benz.  As a matter of fact, she's exactly one year shy of the mark, so HAPPY BIRTHDAY!  Anyway, after being the vampire we wouldn't mind having bite us in 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' and 'Angel', Benz went on to give Rambo something to fight for in 'Rambo' (who wouldn't gut someone in the jungle for her?) and returned to series work in 'Dexter'.

Another one just short of the 45-year-old mark but well worth mentioning is the woman who made a Pauley Shore movie worth watching.  I don't know any guy from the 90s who didn't have a fullblown crush on Carla Gugino after seeing her in 'Son-In-Law', only to later lose their minds when she showed up in 'Sin City' as the constantly topless lesbian probation officer.

With the potentially disastrous change to Playboy magazine this year, we can't forget the women who made the magazine the powerhouse it once was.  One of those lovely ladies is 1998 Playmate of the Year Karen McDougal, widely considered one of the most popular playmates of the 90s, second only to another lady coming up later on this list.  McDougal didn't parlay her PMOY status into a notable acting career, instead she continued to model and was romantically linked to actors like Bruce Willis.  A few years after her Playboy days she ended up on WWE television for a short stint as a contestant on the first Divas Search.

Definitely a missed opportunity for our list of Actresses Whose Acting Will Never Be as Important as Their Looks,  Heather Graham has been known for ditsy characters and her rack, which has proven to be a pretty substantial career.  She did the impossible in making Austin Powers forget about Elizabeth Hurley in 'The Spy Who Shagged Me', made roller skates hot in her full-frontal role in 'Boogie Nights', and wasn't afraid to whip out a boob later in her career in 'The Hangover'.

At 46-years-old, Stacy's mom still has it going on.  Something that will likely make a lot of guys feel old is that all three women from the iconic 90s Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover are of an age to qualify for this list.  Being the youngest of the three, Rachel Hunter has had a little more longevity in the public eye, showing up in the pages of Playboy after her time as a swimsuit model and recreating 'Fast Times at Ridgemont High' in the beloved video for the aforementioned song, 'Stacy's Mom'.

Sure, she was on the show 'The O.C.', but after her single-episode appearance on 'Firefly' as the brothel madam with a heart of gold, I think we can forgive her.  Melinda Clarke's 'Firefly' madam role isn't the only erotic role she's played, appearing on several episodes of 'C.S.I.' as a dominatrix that peaked Gil Grissom's interest (and our own).  A constant presence on television, Clarke recently appeared as The Penguin's step-mother in 'Gotham', meeting her gruesome end after being fed her own children.

The lovely Gillian Anderson is one of several reasons to despise David Duchovny.  The American-born British babe identifies herself as straight, but has admitted to having relationships with women in the past and is completely open to having a relationship with a woman in the future (Hey Gillian, we're open to the possibility of you being with another woman too!).  At 47, Anderson looks better than ever, taking the occasional opportunity to show some skin in movies and photoshoots.

While you may not have seen much of Olivia d'Abo since her days trying to woo Conan in 'Conan the Destroyer' or on the TV show 'The Wonder Years', d'Abo has continued her career in the vocal world as a singer and voice actor for cartoons and video games.  Like fellow voice-actor Tara Strong, d-Abo is a voice actress whose impressive and respectable voice work is rivaled by her beauty.

By far the most popular Playboy Playmate of all time, Anderson is so beloved for her disrobing abilities that she was hand picked to be the featured pictorial in the final nude issue of Playboy.  Apart from holding the record for most appearances on the cover of the magazine, Anderson is well-known for leading the trend of leaked celebrity sex tapes with her honeymoon video with former husband Tommy Lee.  She's also let the likes of Kid Rock and Brett Michaels climb on top of her, which leads us to wonder which is worse, her taste is men or her taste in film roles?

The lovely Robin Wright popped up on our radar as Princess Buttercup in 'The Princess Bride', and though she's continued to work she's mainly known for her role as Jenny in 'Forrest Gump'.  Recently, Wright came back to public attention with her award-winning role in the Netflix series 'House of Cards', being the first woman to win a Golden Globe for an online exclusive series.  Wright will be returning to the big screen next year as an Amazon, women considered to be of peak physical condition and beauty, in DC's 'Wonder Woman' film.

The second of the iconic Sports Illustrated Swimsuit models to make the list, MacPherson is regularly cited as fans' favorite SI Swimsuit model of all time.  She was linked to Billy Joel before he married Christie Brinkley (How the hell did he manage to land either of those women?!) and has since been arm candy for hotel heirs and millionaires.  While her film roles peaked with Bruce Wayne's girlfriend in 'Batman & Robin', she's made a name for herself in television, hosting 'Britain's Next Top Model'.

Rounding out the SI Swimsuit models on our list is the one so beautiful she was part of the iconic three-woman cover shoot while several months pregnant!  The perfect example of the wholesome, girl-next-door appeal, Ireland appeared in 13 SI Swimsuit issues in a row and her 1989 cover was voted the best of all time.  Outside of modeling, Ireland has proven herself to be a successful business woman, amassing a nearly half-billion personal worth.

Williams' success as a singer and actress has actually overshadowed her accolade of being the first African-American Miss America in 1984.  Unfortunately for Williams, she was pressured for relinquish her title near the end of her run when Penthouse magazine bought and published nude photos of Williams.  Williams' reign as Miss America lived in infamy until she returned to the pageant this year as a judge and received a public apology from the Miss America CEO during the pageant.

Alex Kingston gained initial American attention during her run on the show 'E.R.', but she became beloved to geeks when she signed on to 'Doctor Who' as River Song, revealed to be the Doctor's wife who is also a time traveler but they meet out of order.  While her main recognition may be in the geek world with 'Doctor Who' and recently 'Arrow' on the CW, she's equally accomplished in everything from stage acting, to classic Shakespeare, to stripping down to nothing and making you wonder how to hell Voldemort (Ralph Fiennes) could ever divorce her.

Playmate of the Year, former girlfriend of Hugh Hefner, B-movie skinflick starlet, and the woman hot enough to make perpetual horndog Gene Simmons settle down and eventually tie the knot.  Shannon Tweed's body drove her career for several decades until her venture into reality television, being the sane one in the family on 'Gene Simmons Family Jewels'.  She's also a terrific example of a gorgeous woman who resorted to a facelift who didn't need it.  Luckily, she didn't come out looking like Joan Rivers.
