There's a town in Brazil made up completely of women, and their looking for men. Now as much as this may sound like a grown man's fantasy, I promise you this is one hundred percent real BuzzHead. I wouldn't lie to you.

Noiva do Cordeiro, Brazil is a very unique town and it just happens to be total beaver fest. Of the town's 600 residents there is exactly zero male inhabitants. Do you hear what I'm saying? This is town made up completely of women!

Now I know what you're thinking, surely these are all the old and ugly ladies that the rest of Brazil doesn't want, but you'd be wrong.

In fact, most of the women are under the age of 35 and pretty good looking, and unlike the ancient Amazons of Greek mythology, these women are open to letting a few select male specimens into their town.

Noiva do Cordeiro has been around since 1891, when a woman who was excommunicated from the Catholic Church for leaving her husband founded the city and began taking in other unwanted woman, including prostitutes.

So what's with the sudden change of heart and willingness to let men in? Basic human needs. These ladies are getting lonely and it can be hard to find a husband when you're super-hot but stuck in the middle of a jungle.

A couple of the ladies in the town are already married, although their husbands are not allowed to live or work in the town and are only allowed to visit on the weekends. As for little boys? They're booted from the town as soon as they hit eighteen.

The residents say the arrangement works great for the community. According to one resident, Rosalee Fernandes, "There are lots of things that women do better than men. Our town is prettier, more organized, and far more harmonious than if men were in charge. When problems or disputes arise, we resolve them in a woman's way, trying to find consensus rather than conflict. We share everything, even the land we work on. Nobody competes with anyone here. It's all for one, and one for all. The whole town came together recently to help buy a huge widescreen TV for our community centre so we can all watch soap operas together. And there's always time to stop and gossip, try on each other's clothes and do each other's hair and nails."

The town is still considering opening their gates to male residents, if those new residents don't mind living in a woman's world. You can check out some pictures from the actual town here.

Now if you don't mind the whole 'women in charge' thing, start packing those bags! I'm warming up the bus right now.
