The Metal Version of ‘Barbie Girl’ is Much Better [VIDEO]

Some songs, when they get stuck in your head, will drive you absolutely crazy. Aqua’s song “Barbie Girl” is one of those tunes. Victor de Andres is a Spanish guitar player and he’s taken the song to a whole new level by making it into a metal version. Weirdly, it works.  We spend the first few seconds of the clip listening to the song in its traditional format, then with a knowing look, as though to say “You don’t really want to listen to this,” Andres breaks into fiery licks that change the entire sound. What do you think? Is this better than the original?
