Texas High School Football Players Target Referee During Game [VIDEO]

I don't care if you don't agree with what this referee called. No one deserves to get blindsided like this. 

I played high school football back in the day. Then again, I didn't play high school football in Texas. You guys take it to a whole new level down here. I say play, I sucked, I will be honest with you guys. I have witnessed some terrible calls by refs while playing, but never would I do what these two kids did.

These two kids play for John Jay High School in San Antonio. No one knows exactly why the kids decided to attack the referee. An investigation is currently underway. Austin Football Officials Association secretary Wayne Elliott told The Associated Press that the referee wants to press charges but "the first thing we want is that those two kids never play football again."

According to reports, Northside ISD has suspended the two players from the team and from their school. However, more actions may be taken by not only the school district, but by the UIL, TASO (official's league), and the referee himself is considering pressing charges.
