Let the speculation begin my brothers and sisters of the Metal Militia - Metallica have posted a cryptic video titled "Save the Date" teasing some sort of major announcement to be made tomorrow (2/7) at 1PM CT. After watching the video, I can only assume that it's in reference to some sort of live event and not another collaboration with a homeless drunk guy who stumbled into their jam pad one day while they were warming up.
Hulk Hogan really rocked it in the ring back in the day, but did you know that the former wrestling champ almost rocked out with Metallica? The Hulkster, who before his professional wrestling career played bass in a Floridian rock band called Ruckus, claims that drummer Lars Ulrich once offered him the opportunity to join Metallica.
Friday evening (Jan. 20), Metallica were the talk of the town in Los Angeles as they were on hand for the invitation only unveiling of the art exhibit Obey Your Master. In what is undoubtedly the coolest moment of their lives, Dennis Diaz and his wife Annette were brought up on stage during the final of Metallica's 30th anniversary shows last Saturday, December 10 to play "Blackened" with the guys during the part of the show where MetClub members were invited on stage to jam with the band.
