With a new year we have a new chance to look at films turning the big 3-0 this year.

Ladies and gentlemen we're officially in the year of Back to the Future 2. In ten months we're all expecting flying cars and hoverboards. One invention people are forgetting about that may be cooler than all of that.

Not even Doc Brown was mad enough to try some of this stuff.

Since the release of 'Back to the Future Part II,' fans of the movie and science nerds alike have been eagerly awaiting the day that the seemingly impossible Hoverboard technology became a reality. Well that day has finally arrived!

So it has come to this: 2015 will see not only the 30th anniversary of 'Back to the Future,' but a stage musical adaptation that will premiere in London's West End with an eye towards a Broadway debut in 2016. This is no cheap knock-off either. This version of the enormously popular film has several of the original's key players heavily involved in the production.
