The Annual St. Patrick's Day Downtown Street Festival will take place on March 14th this year in downtown Wichita Falls. Gates will open at 4:30 PM and all the way till 11:00 PM guest will enjoy food, drinks, fun, and live music! Today, the bands for the event were officially announced by Wichita Falls Downtown Proud.

This year's headliners are one of the biggest names in the alt-country/rock scene, the Old 97's! Formed in Dallas in 1993, for over 20 years the group has received critical acclaim for their albums and toured all over the world. The latest release, Most Messed Up,received 4 stars from Rolling Stone and the band is known for their high energy live shows.

Luke Wade, a Texas-based singer-songwriter will open for the Old 97's. Luke is best known from his recent appearance on NBC's The Voice where all 4 of the coaches wanted him on their team.

Ayron Jones and the Way will be kicking off the night. They are described as a three-piece blues rock band that infuses the raw energy of punk with inner-city Hip-Hop.

Rounding out the performances that day will also be two local favorites. Mike O’Neill and Friends and AA Bottom.
