Slash and Axl Rose are on Friendly Terms Again [VIDEO]

I am not saying we're close to a full blown Guns N Roses reunion, but this is a step in the right direction.

Well with this news coming out, it's the first good news for Guns N Roses fans in awhile. The current lineup has lost DJ Ashba to Sixx AM and Bumblefoot just quit the band in recent months. In our wildest dreams, we never though Axl and Slash would get back together. It just seemed like that relationship was severed years ago. I guess wounds heal and never say never.

The reporter asked him, “I’ve heard that you’ve made friends with Axl Rose again.” Instead of dismissing the comment, Slash confirmed the news, saying, “It was probably way overdue, you know. But it’s…you know, it’s very cool at this point. You know, let some of that, sort of, negative … dispel some of that negative stuff that was going on for so long.”

The reporter then went onto ask, whether the classic Guns N’ Roses lineup will perform again. Slash didn’t seem too pleased with that question, answering, “Oh, I couldn’t answer that one, though. All right, let’s get off the subject, ’cause, you know, that’s an old one.”

I think one day it will happen. It would just be wrong not to. Especially with all of these guys leaving Guns N Roses recently, it would be the perfect time for Slash to come in. I am sure Slash has some commitments with his current band, but come on, this has to go down at some point. Let's hope it's less time than it took for 'Chinese Democracy' to come out.
