Skillet ‘Rise’ – Crank It or Yank It?

Atlantic Records

Skillet took the radio world by storm with the release of 2009′s Awake and the assault continues with the new single from their latest album, Rise.

The title track from the effort is undeniably Skillet. Anthemic and hard-hitting, “Rise” is the latest example of how the band have perfected their formula over the years. Developing your own unique sound is no easy task and Skillet have done just that.

The group scored a Top 10 with the last single, “Not Gonna Die”. Chances are, Skillet will meet or exceed the chart position of the aforementioned track. Check out ‘Rise’ and let us know if you agree.
