As Expected, Christian Mistress Go Retro In The New Video For “Pentagram And Crucifix”

Damn I love the metal underground...there's just such an open, honest and yeah, somewhat pretentious vibe. These days metal bands with a more retro/New Wave of British Heavy Metal sound (or NWOBHM) are getting snatched up by the labels and Christian Mistress is the latest with their new album Possession available now on Relapse Records.

Yet Another New Lyric Video From Meshuggah: “Do Not Look Down”

With a song title as cryptic as "Do Not Look Down" one would expect the lyric video to be dark and equally cryptic on it's own and one would be correct. The Meshuggah promotion machine is fired up with all guns blazing here in the weeks leading up to one of the most anticipated metal albums of 2012, Koloss.

Ministry Suffers A Relapse: Mike Scaccia Takes The Oath [AUDIO]

At long last Ministry will return with Relapse, the follow up to 2007's The Last Sucker on March 30th and guitarist Mike Scaccia was gracious enough to grant me a few minutes of his time for the 2/25 edition of The Oath.

Halestorm Offer Up An Acoustic Version Of “Love Bites (So Do I)” [VIDEO]

Fast songs with jacked-up highly distorted guitars aren't exactly the obvious choice of songs to do in an acoustic setting but apparently Halestorm never got the memo.

Black Stone Cherry Release Two Videos For “In My Blood”

You know sometimes bands can be pretty predictable and other times they do something that's totally unexpected...like release two different videos for the same song. I guess Black Stone Cherry decided to release a version of "In My Blood" that would connect more with their American audience and another for the rest of the world since the "official" video was uploaded by Roadrunner U.K.
