I've always heard that hitting a baseball is one of the hardest things to do in sports. I know this to be true, because every time I go to a batting cage I can't even make contact with the slowest balls.

Swordsman Isao Machii, however, doesn't have the same problem. In fact, he ups the ante by foregoing the bat and splitting a 100-mile-per-hour fastball in half with his weapon of choice. The craziest part of the whole thing is how close he stands to the hole where the ball comes out. Talk about some cat-like reflexes.
