God was just trying to high five all the people rocking out this weekend.

Rock am Ring is one of the biggest music festivals over in Europe. The three-day music festival had to take a break on Saturday due to an approaching thunderstorm. 92,500 fans had to run for cover Saturday and festival organizers vowed to continue on Sunday.

Authorities revoked the festivals license for Sunday to ensure the safety of everyone due to another approaching storm. Everyone was forced to leave Sunday at noon. The festival said forty-two people were injured due to lightning strikes, but the numbers are actually as high as eighty.

Several people remain in the hospital. One man actually had to be resuscitated on the festival grounds. Hopefully, everyone recovers and the festival will continue next year.
