You may think this is awesome, but a NC-17 rating is one of the worst things that could happen to a movie.

Rob Zombie's latest movie is called '31'. The basic plot of the movie is,  “Five friends are kidnapped on the day before Halloween and are held hostage in a terrifying place named Murder World. While trapped, they must play a violent game called 31, in which the mission is to survive 12 hours against a gang of evil clowns.

Well Rob is going to have to edit his movie a third time now. It has already been given a NC-17 rating by the MPAA, twice. I know people my age are saying, what's the big deal, release it. I will still see it. Well a lot of movie theater chains have a policy of not carrying NC-17 movies. So if Rob want's people to see the movie, he is gonna have to make some cuts and he is not happy about it.

“Well, after two tries through the MPAA our rating on 31 remains NC-17,” Zombie explained. “Maybe three is the charm to get an R rating. Why R you ask? Well, because your local theater will not show an NC-17. Even though you are a f***ing adult… things [must] be censored for your enjoyment.”

I am a big fan of Zombie's other works, 'Devils Rejects', 'House of 1,000 Corpses' and 'Halloween'. Would love to check out his new movie and hopefully what he takes out doesn't totally kill those scenes.
