Rob Zombie’s new album, The Electric Warlock Acid With Satanic Orgy Celebration Dispenser, is available now! We recently got the chance to sit down with Zombie and he told us all about his sixth solo album.

Zombie has described Electric Warlock as his “heaviest most f—ed up musical monster to date,” and he’s definitely got a point. Though it clocks in at just over 30 minutes, Electric Warlock is a dense tapestry woven with horror, gore and refined artistry.

Rob told us about the type of headspace he wants to transport listers to with Electric Warlock. Guitarist John 5 had a heavy hand in the album’s composition and recording, which allows for some truly stellar musicianship and possessive interludes to shine through.

Zombie predicted in a 2015 interview with us that “Well, Everybody’s F—ing in a U.F.O.” would be a new fan favorite. Having now exposed his fans to the hillbilly-laden track, he follows up on his prediction and ponders how the rest of Electric Warlock’s material will impact fans. The album’s dense closer, “Wurdalak,” inspired by the Boris Karloff film Black Sabbath, may even close Rob Zombie shows in the future!
