The alleged rape from a former Baylor football player is not going anywhere. Even during a halftime band performance.

This weekend, the Rice Owls took on the Baylor Bears. Rice got destroyed 38-10, but no one is talking about the performance of the football team. Everybody is talking about the band's halftime performance. At one point the band got into an IX formation, poking fun at the title IX sexual assault lawsuit.

The band also made a star formation, this one was directed at the resignation of former Baylor president Ken Starr. He was the one in charge when all the alleged rapes went down and it took the university two years to investigate the claims. Some fans did not find the halftime performance funny and the school issued an apology.

"Sexual assault is a matter of serious concern on campuses across the nation, and all of us have an obligation to address the matter with all the tools at our disposal," the statement, in part, read. "The MOB (Marching Owls Band) sought to highlight the events at Baylor by satirizing the actions or inactions of the Baylor administration, but it is apparent from the comments of many spectators and Baylor fans that the MOB's effort may have gone too far."
