Armed Robbers Use ‘Pokemon Go’ to Lure Unsuspecting Victims

It's like Team Rocket in real life. This game is amazing. 

A couple of 'Pokemon Go' players got sucked into a trap at Pokemon gym in Missouri and were robbed. A gym in Pokemon is a place where you can battle your Pokemon.

A lot of people will try to find the gyms and I guess some people took this as an opportunity to rob those people. The people would just wait for unsuspecting 'Pokemon Go' players to show up and rob them. The robbers would also try to lure players into a secluded area to battle them, but would instead rob them.

The police department said “you can add a beacon to a Pokestop to lure more players. Apparently, they were using the app to locate [people] standing around in the middle of a parking lot or whatever other location they were in.”

Police are warning people to be safe when alerting people of your location online.

I have tried to stay off of 'Pokemon Go' as much as possible because I know it will take over my life. 'Pokemon' was my life in 1999, I don't need this running my adulthood as well.
