Another domestic violence case in the NFL and when I heard it was a member of the Cowboys, I got nervous. Well for once, it wasn't the player committing the crime.

It is insane how many domestic violence cases the NFL has to deal with every year. Looks like they have started a new program this season to deal with all these incidents and hopefully it puts an end to all of this crap. Lets be honest, it will probably help stop some, but it will not eliminate it 100 percent.

As a Dallas Cowboys fan, I am on edge today. I think we can agree that one of the best players on the Cowboys is Dez Bryant. The Cowboys and Dez have until four this afternoon, to reach a long term deal. Dez says he is willing to sit out regular season games if a long term deal is not made. So I have been keeping an eye on any Dallas Cowboys news. Then, this pops up and all I can think is, great, now what.

I just saw domestic violence and Orlando Scandrick. Great, lets add more bad news on this day. Turns out, Scandrick was the victim in the situation. He claims his former girlfriend, Draya Michelle, pepper sprayed him and threw candles at him in an argument back on April 21st.

This is coming to light now because Orlando called off his engagement to Draya and now has a restraining order filed against her. That wasn't the only incident though. On July 3rd, Scandrick says Draya got violent at 2 AM - throwing a porcelain jewelry holder and books at him … and threatening to “throw bleach in his eyes.”

Later that night, Scandrick says she grabbed his clothing and threw it in the bathtub and his swimming pool … ruining a bunch of his stuff. Scandrick was granted a request to have Draya stay at least 100 yards away from him at all times. She also has to move out of the 28-year-old’s house.
