A baseball speeding right for you is scary enough, but it’s gotta be downright terrifying when a player lets loose of a bat.

That very thing happened yesterday during a Spring Training game between the Mets and the Marlins. While the rest of his teammates in the dugout were looking for cover, New York Mets infielder Luis Guillorme reached up and caught the bat with one hand like it was no big deal.
