Nonpoint ‘Breaking Skin’ – Crank It or Yank It?

In anticipation of the release of The Return in September, Nonpoint deliver the new single, “Breaking Skin”.

According to Blabbermouth, vocalist Elias Soriana says the track deals with addiction: “It’s about addiction, whether it be food, drugs, sex, lying, or anything, that tends to turn into an itch. You can’t stop scratching it so you break skin. Then, you’re bleeding. You need to get help at that point and deal with it.”

The Return follows the band’s self-titled album released in late 2012. That album produced a couple of Top 30 singles, “That Day” and “Left for You”. Check out “Breaking Skin” and let us know if you think Nonpoint have cranked out a hit this time around.
