The moment you have all been waiting for is finally here! Nine Inch Nails are back with a new album, new single and a nation wide tour. The new single, "Came Back Haunted," was released yesterday(June 5) and is now available on iTunes. Now, the new album, titled Hesitation Marks, will be released September 3 though Columbia Records and there's a reason we haven't heard about it sooner, Nine Inch Nails founder and frontman Trent Reznor has been recording the album in secret for the past 12 months. Reznor even released a statement on NIN.com saying,  “I’ve been less than honest about what I’ve really been up to lately. For the last year I’ve been secretly working non-stop with Atticus Ross and Alan Moulder on a new, full-length Nine Inch Nails record, which I am happy to say is finished and frankly fucking great. This is the real impetus and motivation behind the decision to assemble a new band and tour again. My forays into film, HTDA and other projects really stimulated me creatively and I decided to focus that energy on taking Nine Inch Nails to a new place. Here we go!”

And it seems like this was all part of the plan for a big NIN comeback. If your interested in getting the new single right now AND the new album when it comes out, you can save yourself some trouble and just pre-order Hesitation Marks right now on iTunes and you will get an instant download of the new single, "Came Back Haunted," which is also streaming at the NIN official website.

Nine Inch Nails will also be kicking off a cross country tour called Nine Inch Nails: Tension 2013, on September 28 in St. Paul, Minnesota after playing several festival dates at places such as Lollapalooza, Outside Lands, Leeds, Reading, Made In America and the Voodoo Festival. Reznor had this to say about the upcoming tour, "Tension picks up where (2009 outing) Lights In The Sky left off. This is the full-on NIN live experience realized as we never could before."

So, this is more than enough reason to get excited, except for the fact that the closest shows to us will be in San Antonio and El Paso. But you never know, with any luck they will throw in a stop at Dallas or OKC. You can see the tour dates below and check out the new single, "Came Back Haunted," below.
