Neighbor Steals PlayStation, Gets Busted in Dumbest Way Possible

Trying to figure out if this is more dumb or just plain lazy on this guy's part. 

A guy came home from vacation to find his house got robbed. The big items stolen were his PlayStation 4, two TVs and his tablet. This guy had a notification system setup to let him know when his PlayStation turned on. He saw this and noticed that the PlayStation was still connected to his own WiFi. So that means it had to be somewhere close by, probably in his apartment building still.

He called the police and he suspected his neighbor across the hall. Police responded and searched the apartment belonging to Phillip D. Booker. Inside the residence was the PlayStation along with some weed. Booker admits to breaking in and pawning the other items. Booker faces charges of Aggravated Burglary and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
