Metallica ‘Ronnie Rising Medley’ – Crank It or Yank It?

Rhino Records

You and I both know that I’m extremely biased when it comes to Metallica, but the God’s honest truth is that I can’t think of anyone who can cover a tune as well as they do.

‘Ronnie Rising Medley’ is the Mighty Met’s contribution to the Ronnie James Dio tribute album, This is Your Life. The track is a mix of Rainbow classics ‘A Light in the Black’, ‘Stargazer’, Tarot Woman’ and ‘Kill the King’.

It’s a little long for your standard radio fare, but that’s never stopped us from playing a great tune before. Check out ‘Ronnie Rising Medley’ and advise as to whether we should turn it up or toss it out.
