Marilyn Manson Explains Lana Del Ray Rape Video

Please explain this because I was confused as hell when this got leaked.

A little less than a month ago I talked about a Marilyn Manson music video that got leaked. It was apparently shot by horror director Eli Roth and it featured pop star Lana Del Ray getting raped. It had no music and was just a very strange video. No one knows how it got out, but Manson has finally come out with a statement.

Manson's camp issued this statement a few days after the video got leaked. "Manson did not direct this, shoot it, nor was it for a Marilyn Manson video or outtake footage made by him or to be used by him with his music." Apparently that was not good enough for everybody, so Manson himself is finally talking about it.

"It wasn't a Marilyn Manson video. The editor of the company that put it out was somebody who's edited my videos, that video was something that was done with a camera that Eli [Roth], who's my friend, and I both wanted to test out, so I let him test it out," Manson told NME

"Eli and I wanted to do a music video with her, but she was being such a problem," Manson said. "Although I still respect her, I'm friends with her. I just left, I was tired, I was not willing to make that part of the video. Eli and I originally had intentions of making a video with her, but that is not the intention that is represented in that film clip because that is not what I filmed, not for my video."

The video I put up before got deleted, but I will once again put it up if you haven't seen it yet. If it gets deleted again you will have to do some searching of your own. Just watched it again after reading this. Yup, still lost.
