If there's any truth behind Newton's Third Law, which states that "for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction," then it was only a matter of time before we got Soaked in Bleach, an upcoming docudrama about the death of Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain. While the recent Montage of Heck is a fantastic documentary that provides a deep, poignant and well-sourced look at the life of grunge's tragic poster boy, it appears that Soaked in Bleach will be very, very bad. Go ahead -- check out the trailer below:

The film is told from the perspective of Tom Grant, the private investigator Courtney Love hired in 1994 to find the then-missing Cobain a few days before he was found dead. The movie, directed by Benjamin Statler, features interviews and re-enactments that seem to allege that Love staged husband Cobain's suicide.

The trailer's description states: "Cobain's death was ruled a suicide by the police (a reported self-inflicted gunshot wound), but doubts have circulated for twenty years as to the legitimacy of this ruling, especially due to the work of Mr. Grant, a former L.A. County Sheriff's detective, who did his own investigation and determined there was significant empirical and circumstantial evidence to conclude that foul play could very well have occurred."

Soaked in Bleach comes out on June 11 and is currently available for pre-order from Vimeo On Demand ... or, you know, maybe just watch Montage of Heck instead.
