Last night was the annual "Luck Reunion" in Spicewood, Texas. This is a festival that has been going on for years at Willie Nelson's Ranch. As you can see from the lineup above, A LOT of big names were a part of the festivities. However, one name is missing on the list that was a part of the fun last night.

Kermit the Frog Played a Duet with Willie Nelson

Of all the special guests to pull out on stage, I don't think a single member of the audience thought that a muppet was about to come on stage. The two did several songs together including "Rainbow Connection","Will The Circle Be Unbroken," "I’ll Fly Away," and "Hard To Be Humble."

Not the First Time Willie Has Met Kermit the Frog

Back in 2001, Willie Nelson put out an album called Rainbow Connection, which featured the iconic song from the original Muppet Movie. That same year, Willie Nelson was inducted into the Songwriter Hall of Fame and who helped induct him?

That's right, since Kermit was so honored Willie covered his song. He helped induct him that night into the Hall of Fame. From what I can find, this is the first time that Willie Nelson and Kermit have actually performed together. So the Luck Reunion crowd sure got one hell of a show last night.
