The Dallas Cowboy that killed one of his own teammates in a DUI car accident actually got a contract and could be playing on the team this year.

Everyone seems to have an opinion on this situation, should the Dallas Cowboys bring back Josh Brent after everything that happened?

Josh Brent killed one of his practice squad teammates, Jerry Brown after they went out drinking one night. Reports said Brent had a blood-alcohol level more than twice the Texas limit when his car hit a curb and spun out of control.

For his conviction, Brent was sentenced to 180 days in jail and 10 years probation. His jail term ended June 15 so he could spend 45 days in an alcohol rehabilitation facility. Brent would be eligible to play Nov. 23 against the New York Giants. The Cowboys have yet to say when they would make him active.

This is a tough one for me. I don't know if he should be on the team. In my opinion it is a HUGE distraction and the Cowboys defense has been doing pretty well this year. Josh Brent was a very good player on the team before this incident, but I don't know if his talent is worth this distraction. Hopefully the Dallas Cowboys can stay atop the NFC East.
