By now we are sure you are aware of the unthinkable tragedy that took place this morning (Dec 14) in Newtown Connecticut. 27 people, including 20 children, were gunned down at Sandy Hook Elementary School by 20 year old Adam Lanza. This incident has the entire country saddened and heartbroken and has no doubt been a horrific experience for the residents of Newtown. We want to show the people of Newtown that Wichita Falls cares, and this is where YOU come in:

Tomorrow - Saturday, December 15th - Townsquare Media will be out at Walmart on Lawrence road from Noon - 2pm with a giant banner offering our condolences to all those affected by the shooting. We need you to come out and sign the banner to show your support. After we fill up the banner with signatures from our Wichita Falls friends and neighbors, we will send it directly to Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, CT.

So make sure you stop by Walmart on Lawrence between noon and 2pm tomorrow (Sat Dec 15) and help us come together as a city and show our caring support for our friends in Newtown, Connecticut.
