I don't care how big your grill is. If you are not using freaking lava, you have lost.

Two professors at Syracuse University have designed the coolest thing ever. Man made lava, hey Midwestern State get the science department on this asap. To create the lava, they start with Dresser trap rock and use the furnace "like a Crock-Pot" to melt it. It takes about 60 hours to melt enough materials to create a flow that lasts seven to nine minutes.

What better way to test out the 2,100 degree heat? Grill up some steaks of course. You know what I am pretty sure I have hated every science teacher I have ever had, but these guys seem like the coolest professors ever. Seriously, they created lava.
