After playing with Guns N' Roses in South America, it has just been announced that bassist Duff McKagan will also be on stage with the band at this week's Revolver Golden Gods Awards taking place Wednesday, April 23, in Los Angeles. McKagan has been filling in with his former band while Tommy Stinson tours with The Replacements. Stinson is set to return to GN'R on May 13.

Guns N' Roses are slated to headline the 2014 Revolver Golden Gods Awards, and Axl Rose will receive the Ronnie James Dio Lifetime Achievement Award. Joan Jett will be the first female recipient of the Golden God Award.

Also added to the bill at Wednesday night's (April 23) show at Club Nokia are Suicide Silence. It will be the band's first U.S. performance with new frontman Eddie Hermida. Max Cavalera (Soulfly, Killer Be Killed) will make a guest appearance during their set.

They join a star-studded lineup that already includes A Day to Remember, Zakk Wylde and The Pretty Reckless. The ceremony will be hosted by Eddie Trunk, Don Jamieson and Jim Florentine from 'That Metal Show,' with Twisted Sister's Dee Snider helming the Black Carpet pre-show.

Loudwire will be at the Revolver Golden Gods, too. Check for interviews, photos, award winners and anything else that goes down before, during and after the ceremony.
