Two-time Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee David Crosby slammed Ted Nugent on Twitter over Nugent's claims he hasn't been inducted into the Hall of Fame due to political correctness. 

Last week, the controversial conservative rocker said in an interview with an Albany radio station that he believes his connection to the NRA is the reason he's yet to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame,

And so I’m on the board of directors of the NRA, Jan Wenner (Rolling Stone co-founder) hates the Second Amendment, so that’s the only reason I’m not in the Rock and Roll of Fame. And until they get their heads out of their ass, I’m more than happy to do what I do and do it with all the vim and vigor that I do it every night.

However, other rockers have a different idea as to why Nugent hasn't gotten the nod. David Crosby, a double-inductee for his work with The Byrds and Crosby, Stills, & Nash, was asked on Twitter if he agreed with Nugent's claim, to which Crosby responded,

Later, another Twitter user followed up with Crosby, asking if Nugent's hit 'Cat Scratch Fever' was enough to warrant an induction, to which Crosby replied,
