Buckcherry ‘Rose’ – Crank It or Yank It

My how time flies - it seems like it was only a couple of years ago that 'Lit Up' was all over the radio and here we are in 2013 and The Best of Buckcherry is set to drop tomorrow.

'Rose' originally appeared on 2008's Black Butterfly and while it wasn't released as a single the first time around, it'll get the radio treatment just in time for the arrival of the greatest hits collection.

Like the majority of Buckcherry's song's, 'Rose' is a hooky, guitar-driven tune reminiscent of 70's and 80's hard rock. Being a bit of a rock purist, I've always considered it a major coup that Buckcherry have been so successful doing what they do in an era in which post-grunge and nu metal have dominated rock radio.
