Black Label Society ‘Heart of Darkness’ – Crank It or Yank It?

Zakk Wylde and Co. offer up the second single from Catacombs of the Black Vatican.

The first single, 'My Dying Time', had a respectable run, breaking the Top 20 before ultimately falling off the charts. While 'My Dying Time' is a damn good tune, 'Heart of Darkness' is a little more like what I've come to expect from Black Label Society.

The track features a killer main riff that is bound to get stuck in your head. Of course, the Wyldeman has always come through big time in the riff department but my favorite aspect of his newer stuff is how soulful his vocals are. And they're on full display in 'Heart of Darkness'.
