Tony Kerns

Ok... the easy stuff first.  I was born in Tucson, went to high school here in Wichita Falls (OLD HIGH CLASS OF '99 REPRESENT!), and graduated college in Albuquerque.  I'm happily married to my High School sweetheart Lindsey and we have a beautiful baby girl Madeline (named after one of the funniest women to ever live, Madeline Kahn.)  I'm a huge geek, and proud of it.  At any given time by belt buckle is either Ghostbusters, Superman or Batman, I have many shirts to match those belt buckles, and have more action figures on display in my house than my 8-year-old nephew has in his toy chest. Now for the more introspective stuff...  My wife says that its quite obvious that I was born to entertain people.  In a group of people, if I'm not cracking jokes, people come up and say, "Are you feeling ok?"  Getting people to laugh at something I said or did, and I meant to make them laugh, is the best feeling in the world to me.  Of course I've learned the hard way where and when it is not a good idea to try to make people laugh... like funeral homes or a police line up.

Tony’s Review of “Star Trek Into Darkness”

J.J. Abrams has graced the silver screen with his follow-up to the successful reboot “Star Trek”, showing us as clearly as possible that he is not a fan of “Star Trek”.

Since the events of the previous film, newly promoted Captain Kirk and the crew of the Enterprise are sent to the planet Nibiru to observe the indigenous primitive population

Tony’s Review of “Iron Man 3″

Another film trilogy has come to an end, but this trilogy has done what few before have been able to accomplish, save the best movie for last.

Taking place after the events of “The Avengers”, “Iron Man 3” opens with a flashback to New Year’s Eve 1999 where a very drunk and cocky Tony Stark is speaking at a symposium in Sweden, laying his moves on thick to scientist Maya Hansen, and blowing off disabled scientist Aldrich Killian who is promoting his think-tank, Advanced Idea Mechanics

Tanning Mom Patricia Krentcil Poses Topless (Terrifying NSFW Links)

OH GOD NO!  WHY DID I LOOK?!

Never thought you'd see topless photos that made the Octomom's pictures look hot, did ya?  Patricia Krentcil quickly gained notoriety for her arrest and mugshot following her attempts to bring her then 5-year-old daughter into a tanning booth.  Since then, Krentcil has made efforts to reduce her tanning and bring her skin back to a less leathery complexion,

Tony’s Review of “Evil Dead”

Another remake?  Yes, Hollywood has been out of original ideas for quite some time.  However, “Evil Dead” takes the idea of a remake and does it the way it should, taking as little of the source material as necessary, and coming up with a new twist to make the new film a unique experience for the audience, both those new to the story and fans of the original

“Saints Row IV” Announcement Trailer Is Here!

In 2011, Volition shocked fans of the "Saints Row" video game series with a serious change in tone for their new game, "Saints Row The Third".  Instead of being a serious, Grand Theft Auto-esque game with occasional quirky moments, Saints Row had now become completely batsh*t insane, including streaking, monstrous clones, superheroes, vampires, S&M, zombies, sex toy weapons, an auto-tuned pimp with a tracheotomy, and movie references galore.

First Trailer For “Kick Ass 2″. Warning: It’s a RED BAND TRAILER!

To be perfectly honest, I don't think many people were expecting much of the original "Kick Ass" movie, myself being one of them.  But we were all taken off guard by the brutal realism, and quirky comedy, about a high schooler deciding to take matters into his own hands and becoming the super hero Kick Ass

In Defense of Being a Movie Snob [OPINION]

I’m a movie snob; I admit it and I see no problem with it.  I’m highly critical of cinema because of my passion for it.  Yes, it’s an art form and art is subjective, but I also believe there are aspects to film, just like any art, that are measurable and go to determine the quality of the piece and the skill of the people responsible for it

Glenn Beck vs. World Wrestling Entertainment

In the current day of “Sports Entertainment”, the idea of pro wrestling being “real” is passé.  We all know it to be a physically demanding choreographed equivalent of a soap opera, but that doesn’t mean people aren’t going to take the scripted storylines to heart, and take offense when a storyline goes too far

As any good business should, Playboy Enterprises has made the decision to revamp its cultural image in an attempt to stay socially relevant and financially viable.  The past several years haven’t been the best for the iconic magazine, seeing a reduction in the size of the magazine and number of issues per year, combining two months a year into a “special edition”
