Miami Dolphins Fire Head Coach Tony Sparano
Well, Todd Haley isn’t the only coach looking for work now.
The Miami Dolphins also fired their head coach, announcing that Tony Sparano (not to be confused with Tony Soprano) is being replaced by defensive backs coach Todd Bowles for the team’s remaining three games this season. After being traded to the Philadelphia Eagles earlier this week, running back Jerome Harrison was undergoing a routine physical when doctors discovered a brain tumor. The discovery both nullified the trade from the Detroit Lions and may have saved Harrison’s life. He reportedly underwent surgery on Friday to remove the tumor.

Tom Cruise got to test drive a race car at a track in California this week, where the actor did 24 laps in the Red Bull F1 car. Former driver and 13-time Grand Prix winner David Coulthard instructed the ‘Days of Thunder’ star before he let Cruise take hold of the wheel of the 850-horsepower car, reaching speeds of 181 mph.
