I, for one, can't think of a better way to roll out a series of interactive music history apps than with one that chronicles the Bon Scott era of AC/DC.

In the first of a new series of apps called "In the Studio With Redbeard", brothers Angus and Malcolm Young chronicle the early years of the band beginning with their move to Australia in the 1960's to the death of the legendary singer in 1980.

"AC/DC: The Bon Scott Era" features over an hour of in-depth discussion that takes users on a journey using a biographical timeline while the Young brothers share their stories along with rare photos and memorabilia. Users can also stream the interviews in sequence or download them to their device.

The app will set you back $2.99 and as of this posting is only available on the iTunes App Store.
