A Little Prog-Metal for Your Saturday Night – Here’s The Contortionist’s Video For “Causality”

Honestly I'm new to The Contortionist but I am most certainly diggin' their new album Intrinsic (out now on eOne Entertainment) so I can see myself getting familiar with their earlier stuff through the modern marvel that is Spotify.

The Contortionist have actually come along at the perfect time for me as I've found myself getting more and more into progressive styles here lately and they scratch my eternal itch for new music to get into.

You know I'm always a sucker for some live music and as luck would have it, the band is part of a killer tour that includes Jeff Loomis, 7 Horns 7 Eyes and Chimp Spanner (making their North American debut) and the tour stops in Fort Worth at Tomcats West next Saturday July 28.
