California thrashers Warbringer have just announced that guitarist John Laux and drummer Carlos Cruz have exited the band. Though Cruz was only a member of Warbringer since 2011, Laux was an original member of the act, leaving vocalist John Kevill wondering whether or not Warbringer should trudge onwards.

First things first, this is not a live video of Warbringer rolling through "Future Ages Gone" in their jam pad. While the footage is no doubt genuine shots of the band practicing, the audio is clearly not from the same session but the video is still worth checking out.

Granted I've only been doing my metal picks for a few months now, but this would be the first time Warbringer would've made the list nonetheless.

I had the pleasure of talking to John Kevill from Warbringer on last Saturday night's edition of The Oath. He filled us in on the recording process for the new album Worlds Torn Asunder, the addition of Carlos Cruz on drums, the history of the band and how he feels about their label, Century Media pulling their artists' material from Spotify.
