While I'm a bigger fan of videos with a bit of a storyline, I have no problem with a bunch of dudes cramming into a small room and throwing down properly. Sometimes that is all that's necessary to get the point across and that's the case with Pathology's new video for "Tyrannical Decay".

Okay so there's more than just soldiers and hot chicks - there's a creepy dude in a speedo, a kid laughing at someone and of course God Forbid jammin' but I had to get your attention somehow.

Wretched is one of those bands that so-called metal snobs say you aren't supposed to like because the style of metal they play is considered a trend that's been played out. While I'll be the first sumbitch to admit that there's no shortage of deathcore bands out there, Wretched are one of the best in the business in my opinion.

Emmure are about to drop their fifth full-length album, Slave To The Game Tuesday, April 10 on Victory records and here's the official video for the first single from the album "Protoman".

Good news for fans of Jungle Rot - Dave Matrise and company had a party and a video shoot broke out and the end result is the new video for "Blood Ties".

Carnifex is one of the biggest bands in the underground these days...particularly with the younger crowd and vocalist Scott Lewis checked in with me on the November 5 edition of The Oath. Some of the topics we hit on were the making of the video for "Until I Feel Nothing", the progression of the band, what bands he would most like to tour with and a whole lot more.

I caught up with Pathology bassist Oscar Ramirez on the October 1 edition of The Oath. I'm pretty new to Pathology therefore so is anyone relying on me to get their metal. Oscar turned out to be a great interview and we talked a little about the history of the band, the new album Awaken To The Suffering and the band's influences among other things.

Add Pathology to the list of new bands I'm diggin' these days. I'm not typically a fan of uber-guttural vocal styles but for whatever reason Jonathan Huber's vocals appeal to me. Pathology plays a brand of new school death metal more akin to Cattle Decapitation than say Suicide Silence or Whitechapel in that it's heavy on the blasting and light on the breakdowns and you know some good ol' brutalit

I mean it...the new Ringworm album Scars makes me wanna get up and punch my fists at the floor like a friggin' straight edge, hoody sportin', gym short wearin' enthusiast. I've never actually "picked up change" but it looks pretty cool...I'm more of an old school circle-pit-runnin'-into-each-other kinda dude...
