If you happen to roll up on Skeletonwitch jamming in the woods in the middle of the night, I highly advise you get the hell out of Dodge.

The old-school metal revival continues to grow and Holy Grail are one of the bands that helped spark said revival.

Not that the video is way over the top or anything, but there is definitely some psychedelia going on and depending on your frame of mind you just might flip out a little when you see some of the subliminal stuff.

I love unreleased tracks - they're kinda like an encore to me. Forever Abomination has been out for a while now and it's definitely had it's fair share of spins in my stereo so it's nice to hear something from the sessions for the first time.

Aline at Metal Injection recently scored a rare, in-depth interview with Ravn and Frost of Norwegian black metal badasses 1349. I love seeing what is considered one of the truest of black metal bands in this day and age in such a stripped-down, honest manner. As a result of the entire aesthetic of Norwegian black metal I get a visual in my head of these beastly Satan-loving dudes from another realm who are actually just good old-fashioned headbangers like yours truly who just happen to throw on a little corpsepaint and pigs blood to run around the woods for a cool photo shoot from time to time.

Well better late than never I guess but due to some problems with the site (or maybe me?) I wasn't able to get this finished last night so here ya go. I often profess my love for Skeletonwitch so it should come as no surprise that their new album Forever Abomination makes the "Metal Pick" list.
