Austin, Texas Eatery Named Greatest From Diners, Drive-Ins, And Dives

A lot of Texas restaurants have gained recognition.

There's many reasons that a Lone Star Eatery could earn an award. It could be the food they make, or the experience that the place brings. When a place earns honors, it certainly means one thing: more business!

But, there's one show, specifically on TV, that a lot of people know. It's none other than Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives. Hosted by every person's favorite resident of Flavortown, Guy Fieri, plenty of restaurants have made an appearance on the show.

To be exact, at the time of writing, 81 have shown off their cuisine to the nation! But...which one is the best from the state of Texas? Thankfully, someone has selected if for us.

So, which the best DDD eatery in the state of Texas? Could it be in Dallas? Perhaps Lubbock or even El Paso?

Well, to our surprise, and probably putting smiles on those in the Central Texas area, it's located in the state's capital, Austin. The winner is none other than The Counter Cafe!

Delish states that the reasoning for it taking the top spot is "phenomenal breakfast dishes—think pancakes, breakfast tacos, and eggs benedict served on a biscuit." Delish also says they have a curry chicken burger.

So looks like it's time to get to Austin to eat everybody!
