You would think that when we send our kids to school, they're going to be well taken care of and be safe in other peoples care. Sadly, at a Texas elementary school, there was an incident that left others scratching their heads.

Look, I have three kids myself. I know how frustrating they can be at times, but under NO circumstances is it ok for someone else to do what this teacher did.

The incident occurred at Pfluger Elementary School in Kyle, TX. and it had other administrators who witnessed the incident baffled and immediately reporting the incident to campus administrators.

A first-grade teacher grabbed the arm of a student and dragged them from the school's gym to a hallway located just outside the gym. The incident happened at school dismissal.

As for why the teacher had been dragging the student, we don't know. The Hays ISD hasn't released many details about the incident, including the teachers name who did the dragging. All we are aware of is that a student was dragged by their arm.

The teacher involved in the incident was told instead of going to school on Tuesday that they were to report to the district's administration offices. Instead of reporting there and discussing the incident, the teacher decided to resign.

I knew kids who attended that school when I lived in Kyle, TX. and it was one of the schools everyone wanted their child to attend. Never would I have thought this would be something that could happen there.

The incident was reported to the Texas Education Agency and to Child Protective Services.
