
Supercells Hit Texas and Oklahoma with a Wall Cloud near Wichita Falls
It's getting to be that time of year again when the weather gets a little nuts here in North Texas. Supercell storms rolled through parts of Texas and Oklahoma yesterday, creating some pretty crazy weather, which included a huge wall cloud spotted near Wichita Falls. Even though these storms can sometimes lead to tornadoes, none were reported this time.

Wall Cloud near Wichita Falls as Supercells Form in TX and OK
However, the storms still packed a punch. In Oklahoma, hail fell that was bigger than apples, leaving dents in cars, knocking shingles off roofs, and sending a few people to get checked for minor injuries. Emergency crews spent the evening checking damage and helping residents.

Meteorologists say the same unstable weather pattern is still hanging around today, which means more severe storms could develop. That includes the chance for large hail, strong winds, and maybe even an isolated tornado.
Officials are reminding people to stay updated on the weather and make sure they have reliable ways to get alerts as the storm system continues moving across the Southern Plains.
